1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using HandWriter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HandWriter is a Chrome browser extension that enables handwriting input for AI chatbot websites. The Service converts handwritten text to digital text for use with various AI platforms including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, and others.
3. User Accounts and Authentication
To access premium features, you may authenticate using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscription Plans
- Free Plan: Limited to 10 handwriting inputs per day for guest users, 20 per day for authenticated users during 7-day trial
- Premium Plan: Unlimited handwriting inputs with monthly subscription
Subscription fees are processed through Stripe and are subject to their terms and conditions. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
5. Payment and Refunds
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your handwriting data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data collection and usage.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use HandWriter only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems to access or use the Service
8. Intellectual Property
HandWriter and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by MiUPa and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
9. Third-Party Services
HandWriter integrates with third-party AI chatbot services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of third-party services.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations
HandWriter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
12. Termination
You may terminate your use of HandWriter at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Japanese courts.

These terms are available in multiple languages. In case of conflicts between translations, the English version prevails.
